So here is a cool story: Dana’s Mom saw my work on display at The Boro Bean in Hopewell several years ago, liked what she saw, and saved my business card. Seemingly seconds after Dana announced her engagement to Kevin, Mom called to see if I was available. During our initial meeting, Dana mentioned she was a teacher in a local school district. I asked if she knew my good friend who also taught there. Not only did she know her, turns out they are direct counterparts – and this friend was actually going to be one of her two bridesmaids! Ridiculously small world.
Dana and Kevin are so fun together. I’m not usually drawn to photos where couples are actually kissing (I tend to like the moment just before, or just after) but these two wouldn’t stop, and their emotion was so genuine – I had to include a few! Their ceremony was held at The Church of Saint Ann in Lawrenceville, and the Neshanic Valley Golf Course was the setting for their beautiful reception. I am so grateful to have been a part of this elegant, yet down-to-earth celebration. As always, I hope you can feel the connection between the great friends, loving family, and dedicated couple here.
Many thanks, once again, to Melanie Pack for her invaluable assistance as second photographer (and veil-catcher! The wind was insane…look for her cameo below!)
