I love this family. I’ve photographed so many milestones for them I can’t even count: weddings, new babies, holidays, their business – and I am now proud to call them great friends. They are the kind of clients photographers dream of, They even set their wedding date based on my availability – I saw the “We’re engaged!” post on Facebook and within hours received an email discussing possible dates for the wedding. So cool.
The day was perfect – getting ready at Treacy’s childhood home, a carriage ride to the ceremony for the bridal party, the groom and groomsmen’s grand entrance on a fleet of tractors, and a tour of their land (including cow pastures) for portraits. We even snuck into the church where they would have been married had they not felt such a pull toward having the ceremony at the family farm.
Many thanks to Cameron Harrington for coming up all the way from Virginia to second shoot with me. She is a talented photographer with a real strength in fine art and landscapes, and I thought she’d be perfect for this scenic country wedding. She also happens to be my cousin!
Thank you, as always, for having a look and letting me know your thoughts. I love the images almost as much as I love Treacy and Jared.
